Bluetooth devices are found in AI Companion but not when built as apk

Hey all,
I'm really sorry if this question has been asked before but I've tried a bunch of the solutions on older posts and I think things may have been updated in regards to requesting permissions etc.

I'm connecting to Bluetooth devices using the BluetoothLE Extension.
This all works great in the AI Companion but once I've built the APK it seems to hang and never trigger Device Found.

I have allowed nearby devices in permissions.
I'm android V14.0

Please let me know if I need to supply any other information. I've attached my project.
