Need to copy paste on the app screen

Hi,

I have made a very simple app that allows the user to select certain descriptions from a list and generates a unique code displayed on a "Label" component. I would like to be able to copy the displayed generated code and paste it on another app or text file, using the basics select-copy-paste functions.

I have noticed that just tapping on the text representing the generated code does not open the contextual menu to select, copy, and paste.

Could anybody shed some light on why this does not happen and how to enable it, or a work around it?

Put your code in a textbox, then the long click will offer the copy command
