Hello everyone,

Please help us test App Inventor version nb185 on ai2-test. This version is a bug fix release for nb184 targeting bugs that affect testing and compiled apps. Here are the changes affecting this release:

  • Implement LegacyMode property for File component for apps to access files in older, disallowed locations (affects Android 10+)
  • Fix app crash due to errors when using PUT/POST in Web component
  • Implement a universal URL format for WebViewer
    • Use http://localhost/ as a prefix to assets in both the companion and compiled apps on all versions of Android
  • Add "contains any" and "contains all" variants to the contains block in the text drawer
