How do I properly use network request API?

Hi, good day to anyone reading this. I am quite new to MIT app inventor and I plan on creating an app to connect to my ESP32 and I used Taifun's wifi extension. When I try to use the network request API feature, my phone can't seem to connect to the specified wifi, I also already have the app ask for permission user to write_settings.
